Product Description

Working Principle of Eddy Current Separator
During operation, the Eddy Current Separator generates a high-frequency alternating magnetic field on the surface of the rapidly rotating magnetic rotor. When non-ferrous metals (such as copper, aluminum, etc.) pass through this magnetic field, eddy currents are induced within them. These eddy currents, in turn, produce a secondary magnetic field opposite in direction to the original field. As a result, the non-ferrous metals experience a repulsive force from the magnetic field, causing them to be ejected forward along their conveying trajectory. This process effectively separates non-ferrous metals from non-metallic materials, achieving the sorting objective.

Working process of Eddy Current Separator

1)Material Feeding: The material is fed into the vibrating feeder, ensuring an even distribution onto the conveyor belt.
2)Magnetic Field Generation: A high-speed rotating magnetic roller produces a rapidly alternating magnetic field.
3) Eddy Current Induction: When non-ferrous conductive metals pass through this field, eddy currents are induced within them.
4) Repulsion & Separation: The interaction between the eddy currents and the magnetic field creates a repulsive force, ejecting non-ferrous metals from the main material stream for effective separation.
